1456 - Rimhad 1 Bed Condo

This truly immaculate Foreign name Condo with spectacular sea views has it’s own inspiring history.

Last King of Bali Suite. Unique architectural and historical treasure.
“The property was purchased by the current owner in 2005. It is magnificently embellished, that most people think it has been done by a foreign artist. This fact is confirmed by the persistent rumour that during some time the property has been occupied by a prominent figure from the royal family of Bali, who had it embellished with motives inspired by the Hinduism Pantheon and Brahmanism.
According to persistent ongoing rumours, a mysterious young Lady from Indonesia had been renting the property for some “anonymous client”, as would have been said. She would eventually not proceed in signing any lease agreement neither disclose her name nor the name of the person she was representing, paying the lease upfront in cash for a long term. She asked the owner the right to embellish the property to free liking, which had been granted. Where after the locks were changed and the owner de facto denied access to the property.
It is said that the property has been used as retreat by one of the last direct descendants of King Dewa Agung Oka Geg, the last King of Bali, before his kingdom Klungkung was incorporated in the Indonesian unitary state in 1950. It is further said that King Deva Agung Oka Geg’s heir had the property refurbished, decorated and adorned meticulously by Balinese builder masters from Pura Sakenan Temple, known as epitome of gorgeous traditional Balinese architecture.
When eventually the property was accessed again, it was found filled with artistic treasures of inestimable value. Among this are a statue of Buddha, made out of a single trunk of presumed Balinese teak wood, as well as two marble Ganesha icons and one statue of Ganesha. The bedroom was found furnished with an antique massive wooden baldachin bed in Louis 15th style. It’s age and origin is not known but it is assumed that it had been imported from France. The entire property floors as well as the bathroom walls have been tiled with imported Indian granite. The bedroom door, the two bathroom doors and the fridge show hand painted Brahmas’ traditional scenes. The owner ever since then left the property in the same state he found it. “
